The Korean Community Center of Greater Princeton (KCCP) would like to invite you to the 11th Annual Chuseok Gala. It will be held on Saturday October 7 @ 5:30 p.m. at the Rider University Student Center in Lawrenceville, NJ.
Since its inception, KCCP has celebrated the Chuseok Gala, a commemoration of the Korean Thanksgiving Day around the eighth full moon by the Lunar calendar. Our gala event has traditionally drawn many community members in the surrounding areas.
KCCP was officially incorporated as a non-profit organization in January of 2008 and has successfully served the Central Jersey communities, sharing the Korean heritage and strengthening the relationship with them. Now, the ever increasing interests in KCCP activities have demanded a much-needed home to provide all the services. Accordingly, the net proceeds of the Chuseok gala will fund the construction of the community center building as the second stage of our fundraising campaign. We achieved the initial goal of purchasing 6.4 acres of land in West Windsor and anticipate that the construction of the multipurpose center will be completed by 2019.
We would like to continue our dialogue with friends and family in shaping the visions and directions of KCCP, while celebrating our heritage for this festive event. Please RSVP as early as you can at email@example.com with your name, title, and name of your guests. For further inquiries, you may send a text to Dr. Ann Lee-Brunner at 609-649-8468.
