I feel this year started just several days ago, and it is hard to believe that the year is coming to a close already. Time always seems to go faster than what we expect. In retrospect, we had many things to do; some have been completed, but regrettably, we had to postpone some important things to the upcoming year.
In 2016, we will be launching more diverse fundraising programs for our building construction. We will extend the membership system and install a more effective Construction and Fundraising Committee. I am sure this year will pose even tougher challenges, but it will yield even greater opportunity for KCCP. With your hard work, cooperation, and effort, we have a chance to build a Korean Community Center with unprecedented resources, programs, and community involvement. I ask you let’s make a great Princeton-area Korean Community Center in Princeton together.
2015년도가 엊그제쯤에 시작한 것 같은데 벌써 저물어갑니다. 정말 시간은 우리가 생각한것 이상으로 빠르게 흘러가는 것 같습니다. 2015년을 돌아 볼 때에 좀더 잘 할 수 있었는데 하는 아쉬움도 많았고 꼭 했어야 할 일들을 하지못한 후회 또한 많습니다만 KCCP 이사분들과 회장단 그리고 숨은 곳에서 말없이 봉사해주시는 여러 회원분들의 도움으로 KCCP 역사에 큰 획을 긋는 보람찬 일들도 많았음을 여러분께 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 2016년 새해에는 2015년에 이어 더욱 확대된 다양한 멤버쉽제도를 설립하고 기금조성 위원회를 설치하여 구체적이고 적극적인 사업을 진행하여 건축에 차질을 주지않는 효과적인 펀드레이징을 정책을 펴나갈 것입니다. 2016년은 우리에게는 분명 절호의 기회의 시기이지만 반대로 가장 험란한 시기일 수 있습니다. 그 어느 때 보다도 회원간의 일사분란한 협력과 노력이 요구됩니다. 그럴 때에만 지금까지 미국 내에 존재했던 어떤 한인 단체보다 강력하고 훌륭한 역사적인 한인 커뮤니티를 우리는 탄생시킬수 있을것입니다. 우리 모두 힘과 땀을 합쳐 성공적인 한인 커뮤니티 운동에 박차를 가할 것을 여러분께 간절히 요청합니다.
