KCCP 2013 Founding Member night at Princeton University Medical Center Education Center (UMCPP)

The 2013 Founding Members Night began with KCCP President Mr. Young Lee’s opening remarks. He thankfully stated that KCCP’s many events, meetings and campaigns were successful with the founding members’ endless support. He then introduced Roy Cho who is preparing to campaign as a candidate for New Jersey State Congressman, and Mayor Hsueh, who was recently reelected as West Windsor township mayor. Both emphasized co-operation between diverse minority communities as an integral part of our visions.
Subsequently, Dr. Lee, the KCCP 2013 chairman of the board, discussed how KCCP has already purchased 6.4 acres of land for our center two years ago and revealed plans construction of the building. He then introduced this year board members, new board members and founding member “graduates” who have paid off $5000 for membership. Afterwards, Mr. Young Lee, KCCP’s current president, then awarded a plaque to Dr. Min Kyu Lee, KCCP’s previous president, to represent our community’s gratitude. Mr. Yongkeun Joh, KCCP’s construction committee chair, then introduced construction committee members, advisors, and the site plan engineer and lawyer whom KCCP has contracted for the construction project. Mr. Anthony Gianforcaro, the site engineer, presented a thorough power point presentation, disclosing current and future plans for the KCCP building site.
Finally, after a mixed western and asian style dinner, members enjoyed a Korean traditional dance performance–Sal Pu Ri by Sun Young Park–and other fun activities. To conclude the evening, Alice Yi, the membership committee chair. delivered a touching speech, sharing her vision for the KCCP community.
